Boing Boing: Stanford's anti-diversity agenda: No astrologer professors! Ha, that's great, but that means that you must also accept the idea that Affirmative Action should not also aim to place students in colleges in the same proportion as the general population. Or that you should not recruit professors to do the same either... The argument, ultimately, is that the natural distribution of ages/gender/race/whatever within any specific population segment should not reflect the overall population. This is all true, but liberals can't apply the rule in certain situations and leave it out in others, exercising arbitrary consistency.
